Azalea Falls layers two of Susan's favorite techniques into a single frame — intentional camera movement and infrared photography — to transform a Southern bloom into something that feels closer to a dream than a garden.

This is a single exposure. No composites, no stacking. Infrared photography records light outside the visible spectrum, which is why familiar greens and pinks read as unexpected, glowing tones, while the ICM softens every form into flowing motion. The result is a piece that rewards long looking and resists quick interpretation.
