Susan Gunn captured this single exposure at the peak of totality — the moment when the Moon is at its most transformed and the sky around it disappears entirely.

This is an open-edition work — not numbered, but no less considered. One exposure, printed with the same care whether it's the first to leave the studio or the fiftieth.
