Dragon's Breath

A Tropical Dragon Plant in the last light of day — backlit, wind-brushed, catching gold and crimson through its long leaves. Susan didn't want the plant. She wanted the energy inside the plant.

A single exposure made with hand-held ICM. No composites, no layering. The leaves blur into streaks of fire-color, suggesting flame without ever depicting it. What began as botanical subject ends as abstraction — an honest record of light and movement in one frame.
