Most people have looked at the Moon their entire lives and never really seen it. This print changes that. Susan Gunn captured this waxing crescent in a single exposure, pulling the lunar surface into sharp relief — craters, ridges, the exact line where light surrenders to shadow — all of it suspended against a darkness so clean it feels infinite.
There's a sense of motion in this image that defies the stillness of the subject. The Moon feels like it's cutting through the frame rather than sitting in it — traveling at the speed its name promises. It's the kind of image that makes you pause and reconsider something you thought you already understood.
Light Speed prints beautifully large. The more wall space it has, the more commanding it becomes.
