This house no longer exists. What stood quietly in Inlet Beach of Highway 30A — weathered, unpretentious, shaped by decades of coastal salt air — has since been torn down and replaced. Susan Gunn captured it on a clear night beneath the full sweep of the Milky Way before it was gone.
That's what makes this print something different. It isn't just fine art — it's a record. The structure below the stars, the way it sat low in the landscape without demanding attention, the galaxy stretching overhead without caring that anything was changing below. All of it captured in one single exposure on a night that cannot be revisited.
The house is gone now. In its place stands something newer, bigger, less interesting. What you're looking at is what was there before — and the only way to still have it on your wall.

Every piece is made to order, just for you. Your chosen image is printed and finished by an award-winning professional photo lab, using archival materials built to hold their color for decades. This is an open-edition work — not numbered, but no less considered. One exposure, printed with the same care whether it's the first to leave the studio or the fiftieth.
