Here the Beaver Moon rises close and full through a stand of Florida pines, the sky behind it a deep lavender-purple with warm peach tones glowing around the Moon itself. The lake is implied rather than shown. The trees are silhouette. The Moon is the whole story.
Captured in a single exposure at dusk, this is one of the warmer, more intimate prints in the collection. Where Western Lake in Space pulls you outward toward the infinite, Western Lake North II draws you in — closer, quieter, and undeniably Florida.

This is an open-edition work — not numbered, but no less considered. One exposure, printed with the same care whether it's the first to leave the studio or the fiftieth.
